The Scriptorium is more than a bookstore — it’s a community learning space dedicated to stories that awaken, teach, and inspire.
Located in McDonough, Georgia, our brick-and-mortar shop blends the feel of a neighborhood bookshop with the purpose of a literacy studio. Every shelf, every story, and every lesson here is designed to spark curiosity and build connection.
We specialize in hidden histories and culturally rich narratives through our original Our Stories to Tell lesson series — a literacy resource that centers Black and Latino voices while strengthening reading fluency, phonics, and comprehension.
